Performance “please adore me”
at FACELIFT exhibition
"please adore me" is an audio-visual sound performance exploring the fragile relationship between identity and image.
At its core, the work asks: Who are you and how does the way you are perceived shape who you become? Do you create your image, or does your image create you?
Sprouting from the deep human need for recognition, "please adore me" examines how the desire to be seen and acknowledged isn’t inherently negative — but rather an essential part of understanding and affirming the self.
Through a dynamic interplay of sound, visuals, and performance, the piece invites the audience into a reflective space where vulnerability, self-expression, and projection collide.
