BLACK FRECKLES / SORTE FREGNER

BLACK FRECKLES is an electronic soundscape inspired by my back tattoo, created by tattoo artist Sorte Fregner.

I view the tattoo as a form of graphic notation - a visual score translated into sound.

The soundscape is mixed live during the performance, creating a tactile and gloomy universe that crawls into the ear canal and almost brushes against the skin, as if you were experiencing the sensation of being tattooed yourself.

BLACK FRECKLES invites the listener into an intense, bodily encounter with sound, where music, memory, and physical sensation merge into one vibrating, living texture.
